Welcome to the Osiligi Foundation's Outreach Program, where we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children in the Arusha Region. Our outreach initiative is a crucial part of understanding the backgrounds and environments of the children in our Osiligi orphanage, especially those with single parents or without both parents.

Objectives of the Outreach Program:

Understanding Origins and Living Environments:

Our program involves visiting the homes and relatives' residences of the children under our care. This allows us to gain insights into their origins and the conditions they lived in before joining the Osiligi Home. By doing so, we aim to foster a deeper connection with the children's backgrounds and provide them with a sense of identity and belonging.

Raising Awareness of Child Poverty:

Through these visits, we strive to showcase the challenges faced by underprivileged children, emphasizing the hardships they endure. We believe that by understanding the context in which these children grew up, we can create awareness and garner support to alleviate child poverty.

Empowering Young Girls through Education:

We place a special focus on young girls during our outreach efforts. In many cases, cultural practices lead to early marriages, forcing girls to abandon their education. Our goal is to break this cycle of early marriage and poverty by advocating for and supporting the education of young girls. We firmly believe that education is the key to empowering individuals and transforming communities.
